Cherrystone Falls is a quiet, small town with an intriguing background. Everyone in this town has superpowers, and they are considered more than humans — Homo sapiens superius, or Superiors as their common name.
This story follows a reckless but brilliant freelance Superior scientist named Nara Woods alongside her family and friends as she uncovers the incident that happened over 30 years ago, causing the appearance of Superiors.
The town has gained attention from the Human Intelligence Agency, where Nara's friend Deaton Marks works. Their interest lies in the long-abandoned Cherrystone Lab — filled with secrets and failed experimentation.
However, there is another mysterious entity that also has its eyes on the town. Nara and company find just how dangerous the Lab actually is, and what is lurking in the foggy shadows.

Thirty-three years ago, six government scientists broke ground on a project the world was never meant to know about — a laboratory dedicated to engineering a more advanced human being. They built an entire town around it. They called it Cherrystone Falls.
A chemical leak changed everything. The residents of Cherrystone Falls were exposed. They mutated. They became what the scientists had aimed for but couldn’t control: faster healing, immunity to disease, singular powers bound to each individual. The experiment succeeded by accident, on a town full of people who never signed up for it.
Mayor Grant Woods — one of the original six — still runs the town. The Lab still stands. And the consequences of what was started underground are only now arriving at the surface.
Those untouched by the leak — or untouched enough. They live alongside the Superiors, unaware of the Lab’s true purpose, navigating a world quietly transformed around them.
Mutated by exposure — visibly, irreversibly. Each carries a unique ability that marks and defines them. Faster healing. Immune to most disease. There is no choosing what you become.
An interdimensional Martian who arrived in Cherrystone Falls with a single purpose. His Anahata mark — a third eye at his chest — contains power siphoned from his father through the Lab’s portal. He carries a scythe. He dissolves into red smoke. He came to collect what is owed.
Led by Dr. Voss, the Human Intelligence Agency exists to study, control, and ultimately mass-produce Superiors. What was an accident in Cherrystone Falls, they intend to industrialize. The Superiors are not people to them — they are blueprints.
Purple-feathered, red-eyed creatures with hook beaks and a five-foot wingspan — Vile's living surveillance over Cherrystone Falls. Attack one, and it dissolves into red smoke. There is always another.
An energy made manifest from Vile's dimension. The fog carries properties unknown to human science — dense enough to fell a Superior, charged with forces that have no name in this world.
Hidden in the basement of Cherrystone Lab — an interdimensional gateway built to contact another world. It was used to siphon power from Vile's father. That debt is why the Power Prince came.
